Britney Spears and Jason Trawick confirmed Friday that they are engaged to be married.

Trawick proposed with a classic Neal Lane diamond engagement ring, which Lane himself custom-designed with the groom, a company spokesperson confirmed to HuffPost Weddings.

The pair began dating in 2009. This will be Spears’s third marriage; her first — to childhood friend Jason Alexander — was annulled after 55 hours in 2004. In 2006, the pop star split from her children’s father, Kevin Federline.
