In the ancient years women were never given fair treatment and for this reason many lady professors came up with complaints on this matter. As time goes on, the MIT has decided to change the system by employing more women and this in end has brought about a lot of misunderstandings. It seems like the demand for woman labor is so high to the extent that the female race is now being taken for granted.
It was the male race that had an upper hand when it came to employment and this prompted many women to rise against that sex discrimination. Their efforts were fruitful and nowadays it’s the women who have more chances of job employment.
The end result of female employment has been severe due to the fact that the female gene undergoes a lot of pain in their efforts to become lovely employees. They are taken to be something else at the work place and this seems to irritate them.
The women have to give in full detail the information regarding what they do yet for the men it’s not the same case.
Men are free to do whatever they want and no one can ever judge them for that. Take an example like when a man takes a family leave; they end up doing some other work instead of attending to family matters.
If you take time and talk to some of the hardworking women professors, you will get different opinions on that matter. What the women want is to work hard in order to become successful in the long run hence this means that they can do all it takes to get to their destiny.
The difference that arises between the men and women comes in a setting where the men are meant to be intellectuals yet on the other hand the ladies are so temperamental.
Just like Nancy Hopkins stated it that the ladies always make sure that they keep their word, it means that changing the above sequence is more than impossible. In order for the women to stand above the males, they work so hard in their efforts to become successful and the coming generation will have to dwell on this if they want to make it in life.
In addition to the above point, the reason why Hopkins came up with that conclusion based on discrimination was because she was really disappointed way back in college when the lab space she had asked for was given to some other male scientist.
All in all, the statistics got from the School of Science faculty showed that the female race had only 15 tenure figures while the male counterparts had 197.
