ESPN fires employee for racist Jeremy Lin headline
LOS ANGELES, Feb 19 (TheWrap.com) - ESPN has fired one employee and suspended another for using the same racist word in connection to New York Knicks’ guard Jeremy Lin.
Lin is the NBA’s first American-born player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.
ESPN first apologized on Saturday, then issued the following statement:
