Eva Longoria & Eduardo Cruz Split: Report

Is there trouble in paradise for Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz? According to the latest report, it looks as if the couple have parted ways for good.

A source revealed to Us Weekly that the pair recently called it quits.

“It was a mutual decision,” the source said. “They are staying friends.”

Longoria, who is wrapping up the last season of “Desperate Housewives,” split from her husband, NBA player Tony Parker, in November 2010 and started dating Cruz, the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz, over a year ago.

Though the couple has been spotted out together all over the world — they were seen enjoying some serious yacht time in Miami last fall — Longoria has been careful to comment on her relationship with Cruz, especially after going through a very public split from Parker.

“Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another,” Longoria told Spanish Vanity Fair (via People) in November 2011. “The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu.”
