Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club to Host Startup Party

When Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in Manhattan’s Flatiron District re-opened in January, there were a slew of stars and celebrities there to celebrate, including Spike Lee, CC Sabathia and even Warren Buffet.

Tonight’s party at the club has a distinctly different reason for celebration: a startup launch party for mobile social network YuuZoo, tech blog BetaBeat reports.

After his widely touted performance at SXSW before a crowd of digerati, it seems Jay-Z may be looking to dabble in the booming tech startup sector.

BetaBeat received an invite to the party from YuuZoo, a network that looks to take advantage of places where mobile Internet markets are larger than home ones, such as India, China and Africa.

Rapper Maino will be performing at the party and celebrating the launch of his own YuuZoo page.
