Actress Lindsay Lohan has been placed under house arrest on Friday, officials said, after she turned in early to begin a sentence of conviction for theft of jewelry. Lohan has been three weeks earlier than usual, was a prison in Los Angeles will not run his punishment, the Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore said Thursday.
