Pak-Afghanistan ODI at Abbottabad
Abbottabad the city where Osama Bin Laden was killed by the US armed forces last week is slated to host a one-day-cricket match. This match would be played between the Afganistan cricket team and Pakistan’s second string team.
This match is scheduled to be played at the end of this month on 29th May. After the attacks on the Sri Lankan Team back in the year 2009 Afghanistan will be the first foreign team to visit Pakistan. In that attack on the Sri Lankan Team Bus by gunmen in which six security personnel were killed along with a Van driver.
As per the Pakistan Cricket Board the tour would be a 3 match series of One day internationals which would last for a week.
Faisalabad is due to host the first day and night match. The second day night match is scheduled to be played at Rawalpindi on the 27th of May. And the third and the final match would be hosted at Abottabad the hideout of Osama Bin Laden for 5 years.
