Rihanna Hides her famous curves in a string vest

She’s been critcised for her raunchy onstage behaviour and revealing costumes. But unusually, Rihanna chose to cover up her familiar curves while hanging out poolside in a none too sexy string vest.

The singer, 23, gave onlookers a peek at her curves – but not much else as the cover-up kept them firmly under wraps.

The What’s My Name singer was seen on a rare day off enjoying a few drinks with her girlfriends at the poolside cabana of her hotel.

The 23-year-old accessorised her blue and white bikini with her flame red bed head hair and no make-up.

Rihanna was pictured having a laugh with her friend at the bar as she held a bottle of Don Julio tequila in her hand.

She also stopped to chat to a fan who approached her and enjoyed some lunch by the pool, according to onlookers.

Tomorrow night it’s back to work for the star as she resumes her tour with a performance at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale.

It will be a busy month for Rihanna as she plays dates in North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia and Boston, before heading to the UK to play the V Festival in August.

And that’s just her performing commitments.

It was announced this week that Rihanna has been signed as the new face of Emporio Armani’s lingerie line.

She will appear in the autumn-winter 2012 underwear ad, replacing actress Megan Fox.

Tennis player Rafael Nadal has also been signed but it is not yet known if the pair will be starring in the same campaign.

Rihanna is already a darling of the beauty industry and has been the face of Cover Girl cosmetics since 2007, and she recently signed a deal with Nivea.

The songstress also fronts the Vita Coco brand, coconut water popular with celebrities.
