A new year brings some brand new images from “The Hunger Games.”
Lionsgate has released several new stills and set photos from the upcoming Gary Marshall-directed adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ hit YA book. With the photos, fans get a few new looks at Jennifer Lawrence as the story’s lead, teenage warrior Katniss Everdeen, as well as some up close shots of Woody Harrelson as drunk guide Haymitch, Josh Hutcherson as Katniss’s friend and competitor Peeta, Lenny Kravitz as stylist Cinna and Elizabeth Banks as Capitol rep Effie Trinket.
The shots highlight some early moments in the film, including: Katniss being led through the bowels of the Arena; Cinna, Haymitch and Peeta discussing strategy; Katniss talking with Gale (Liam Hemsworth); and Katniss using her bow in the woods.
The film hits theaters on March 23rd.
